Ben Powell
Ben C. Powell, MSFE, FCEP, founded The Carpenter’s Plan and served as its first President. He has served as Chief Financial Officer, as well as been on the board of various Christian organizations in Texas and Tennessee. He has assisted many churches and church-related nonprofit organizations with creating a culture of gifts from the estates of Christians.
Ben spent much of his professional career in the church finance business, founding Great Nation Investment Corporation, which has become one of the leading church finance organizations in the nation. He has three married children and lives in Franklin, TN with his wife, Gail.
Ben said, “I founded a company that has arranged hundreds of millions of dollars of financing for churches, but I am now thrilled to be involved with the exciting ministry of helping churches and organizations raise funds with donated dollars. The membership of most churches respond generously once they are given a challenging vision of attaining a mission in which they believe.”
