Chris Smith is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and has lived in Nashville for the past 16 years. In addition to his work with the Carpenter’s Plan he serves as the Preaching Minister for the Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. He previously worked with churches in Tennessee, Kentucky and Texas. Chris and his wife Vicki have three children, one grandchild and a Miniature Poodle that requires daily medicine for allergies. Sigh!
Dr. Smith has degrees from Lipscomb University, Harding School of Theology and a Doctorate from Abilene Christian University. He has almost 35 years of experience in ministry and has helped churches and non-profits with campaigns for several years. He also serves on the Board of Williamson County Habitat for Humanity.
Chris says, “It is a joy to help other organizations with their capital campaign needs. I consider these opportunities as an extension of my local ministry. It sounds like a cliché but it is certainly true. What we do is not fundraising. It is faith raising.”
